The 2012 Kew Community Festival program has been announced. Details are available here.

Hurry! Last chance to apply for an exhibition site at the Kewmunity Day on 24 March, whether as a food vendor, community agency or private stallholder. Fill in the on-line form today. Parade entries are also still open from local groups.

Change of venue for 2012!                                                                                                        December 2011

The Community Day (aka Family Fun Day) is moving to Victoria Park, High Street, Kew.  It will be held on Saturday 24 March 2012.

This is a break from tradition of many years, brought about because our former location, the beautiful Alexandra Gardens, is now too small for our needs. The open lawns of Victoria Park set behind the ceremonial gateway on High Street will give us room to grow and to include activities that require a bit more room.  

The Parade route will also need to change and the Festival Committee are in negotiation with the authorities regarding a suitable location. Watch this space for developments.
